The presentation of Germany’s upcoming self ID law in the Federal Press Conference is incredibly refreshing amidst all the hate against trans people. I don’t like the FDP party (at all), but our minister of justice is doing a fine job explaining the technicalities.

It is legit awesome to hear progressive ministers talking about progressive stuff. After 16 years of political and societal stagnation (which is basically the entire part of my life I actively remember), I am cautiously optimistic for the future again.Permalink
