A @DIEZEIT journalist put mock pronouns in his bio. So much for “professional” journalism. I’m impressed how divided the editorial office must be. On the one hand a lot of progressive podcast hosts 💜 On the other hand dudes like this one 😐

I wonder if people like @JochenBittner know that their behavior makes queer people feel incredibly unsafe? Like life-threatening levels of feeling unsafe. Unless of course this is deliberate. But then I wonder why @DIEZEIT would willingly participate in stochastic terrorism 🤷🏻

EA thinks it’s fun to dunk on single-player games. Maybe they should try Kena: Bridge of Spirits by @emberlab. Everything about this game is just awesome!

@Warrior_242 Mocking and ridiculing something that is important for a minority to feel safe is just the beginning. Kinda like phase 1. Then it continues with platforming and sharing content of people who want to literally extinguish said minority. Phase 2. Then people die. Phase 3.

You know what’s great? Letting young actors play a character, instead of using some weird de-aging magic and voice synthesis. Looking at you Star Wars 👀 @StarTrekOnPPlus/1503853547208646660

This article by @slicknet is a great insight into the “developer mindset”. I encourage everyone to read all the way through! humanwhocodes.com/blog/2012/06/12/the-care-and-feeding-of-software-engineers-or-why-engineers-are-grumpy/

The new module system in @SassCSS is absolutely fantastic! The combination of modern CSS features with a Sass and PostCSS pipeline works like a charm 🙂 sass.logdown.com/posts/7858341-the-module-system-is-launched

@jelenawoehr That’s exactly why I’m not very open about being non-binary. Not only do Germany and the German language have no real concept of non-binary people. I’m also afraid of any repercussions from coming out in real life. It’s like making myself into a prime target for whatever 😕

@GamersNexus The Logitech MX518 immediately comes to mind. It's for sure a legendary mouse. I still keep it around for sentimental reasons, though I've moved on to the G502. A runner-up would be the Microsoft SideWinder X4 keyboard. It was in active use until a couple of months ago.

@Snowden First tried to read as English, hab dann bemerkt, dass es Deutsch ist :D

Every time I read about the cosmos I get this weird mix of awe, wonder, and feeling really small on this tiny rock we call Earth. “The End of Everything (Astrophysically Speaking)” by @AstroKatie for sure triggered this curiosity about the universe. I highly recommend the book!

@yakkeks Haha true 😅 I didn’t even think that far. Probably not the person’s intentions to be addressed gender-neutrally 😁
