And I cannot image how terrible the prospect of “built-in” spyware must sound for those in China, Russia, Belarus, Turkey etc. Once Google and Microsoft follow Apple’s lead, there’s no escape. At least one can use Linux on desktop. But phones are either Android or iOS.
