    1. German public broadcasting: for 210 € per year you get one important news broadcast (Tagesschau) and a bunch of crap that's targeted at old people. Netflix and Disney+: for 226 € per year you get the entire Netflix and Disney movie and show library.

    In the midst of a pandemic, the public broadcasting stations want to increase the subscription to 220 € so they can continue to produce stuff for old people. I am a proponent of independent public broadcasting. But please, we don't need another schlager music show 😒
