@fweidemann14 It's not about how expensive a production is. The problem is the creation of walled gardens. Every other type of media already is one: games, movies, music. Podcasts are the last largely independent form of media distribution.Permalink

@fweidemann14 And high value productions sure can exist without a proprietary platform. They may not yield bags of money. But do they have to? getblockbuster.com is a great example for a very high quality crowdfunded podcast.
